Therefore, critics argue that so-called moral education is just the case of an organized religion looking for ways to reinvigorate its malicious retention of public affairs. In a country like France, there is special protection against this case. In the United States, boundaries are not as clear as they should be. Indeed, some religious communities claim that secularism itself is a religion. Thus, they feel that predominantly secular beliefs such as environmental protection and liberalism are imposed on them. Standing in-between and among these debates are young people who rely on education to prepare themselves for an uncertain future in which their values may face significant scrutiny. The quality of education that young people receive today is questionable. Adding a moral dimension can ultimately tilt the scale and make it impossible for educators to achieve their professional goals. Moreover, the education system needs to address other practical challenges such as lack of funding and inequality between communities, hence, the world Government faces several priorities. Thinking about value-based education is a dream for these governments trying to balance multiple priorities within a limited budget and steadiness in public opinion scrutiny backed by partisan media coverage.
